Our client purchased the property as a project that would later be fully refurbished to their exacting specification and in accordance with the design created by the client's architect.

We worked closely with the client and the architect throughout the project, which spanned thirteen months in total across two stages, to deliver a stunning, fully transformed family home.

• Stage one was to fully refurbish the main house throughout.
• Stage two, shown below, was to convert a disused indoor swimming pool, garage and shower room into a stunning family kitchen/dining/entertainment area.

Again, the building was stripped back to its original structure, removing all windows, doors and even the roof, which was fully rebuilt. All plumbing and electrics were re-designed to accommodate the new layout.

The refurbishment project resulted in creating a stunning new living space incorporating a new kitchen, wine room, boot room, office and utility room, with the existing kitchen being converted into a snug and library.

A fully bespoke, refrigerated wine room, designed jointly between ourselves and the client, with the wine racking itself being hand-built by GJE joiners, has become a focal point of the kitchen.
